The driving rhythms of big band tunes like "Four Brothers," and "Mack the Knife," to a jump swinger like "Now or Never," with a Latin smattering of "Sway," and a tender coupling of "As Time Goes By," and "What A Wonderful World," make this music presentation an American road trip through time.
Take a musical journey with the sounds of Rumble Seat and Mary Ann Moore
on vocals, as they get, "All Tuned Up." Led by saxophonist Byron Hamer, the group features some of Denver, Colorado's finest musicians. The group performs a cookin' blend of jazz, swing, big band, and latin music for all to enjoy. The CD is recorded live with all musicians performing at the same time at the Rocky Mountain Recorders studio in Denver.
It's a drive through the optimistic eras of songwriting that we all love. These are nostalgic tunes that Rumble Seat respectfully interprets and masterfully engages, to swing us through the cures and pace us smoothly on the straight-a-way. Rumble Seat brings us to some jumpy roads as the musicians ride off into some sassy side trips in nearly every cut.
These are all classics and "All Tuned Up" brings them to us with great style and the comforting feeling of a full tank and a friendly road ahead. The pace is supercharged and we are in cruise control as we listen to this band that is tuned to perfection.
